Recently I was contacted by Canadian buyers who said they only had a certain amount in USD to purchase a vacation property, but the style of vacation home they truly desired was just a hundred thousand USD more. They had recently visited Florida and met with a real estate agent who would only show them properties that their USD could buy; they left town discouraged after being told by this agent that they could never get a mortgage for a property in the U.S. This could not have been further from the truth.

Wendy hung in there and made it happen! It took a lot of grit to make my mortgage happen. Let me explain: Yesterday we closed on my property purchase. I needed a mortgage. During the process Wendy Coffey ran into pending liens on the property I wanted to purchase, plus a pending lawsuit lingering from hurricane Ian, and even a few open permits. It looked hopeless.
